OLD TOWN SPRING’S ANNUAL CRAWFISH AND MUSIC FESTIVAL
OLD TOWN SPRING’S ANNUAL CRAWFISH AND MUSIC FESTIVAL In Old Town Spring, which the town was started in the early 1900’s as a railroad town, now boasts of one of the most unique annual festivals I have become a regular and enjoyed for many years.
Although it is the Crawfish Festival, make no mistake, you can enjoy such a variety of foods you are not limited to any particular type of food. Along with their many unique and independent shops, just walking around can be fun for the whole family. The Festival ‘s dates are April 20th, 21st, 22nd, 27th,28th and 29th of 2007. The tickets are $5, and $10 (children under 12 are free as long as they are accompanied by an adult), depending on the time of day you plan to attend.
Since it is also a music festival, there are 3 stages with music ranging from Zydeco to Country , and Rock and Roll. Old Town Spring is located off I-45 North and 2920. From Houston head north on I-45 exit FM 2920, turn right and within 2 red lights, you are in “Old Town Spring”.
You can visit Old Town Spring at any time, and you can still enjoy walking around the streets visiting quaint shops or possibly enjoying relaxing at one of the restaurants in the vicinity by simply parking, walking and enjoying a very relaxed, friendly, and country atmosphere. |
